just by the name of the title...... no.....

You stop playing and you have up to 3 months... think they increased that since I came back, to start playing again, if you dont come back within 6 months buddy, that just to bad.

You stand a good chance of getting your account back after 12 months. If you are inactive that long, start again....

Seeing as your PoL ID is never deleted, you can be as inactive as you want for as long as you want and not pay a dime.

But after 3-6 months of non-activity a *character* may. or may not, be deleted. But even then you could prolly get it back by contacting PoL Support or whoever.

Yea my Ex-GF didn't play for a year or more and she came back with NP so its not too big of deal to be gone awhile.

you cant always guarantee that though, the current policy is fine, but at the same time, if you want to come back, you have to accept the fact that after a certain time period, you may not have your characters.

If you've been gone that long maybe best for future party members if you did relearn jobs anyways. It sucks to restart but over 12months gone can you really pick up where u left off? and do as good a job?

I think they should extend the inactivity policy for those with valid reasons to be inactive. For example I am deploying to Iraq soon. I don't want to have to pay the online fees while I am gone, but I don't want my character, that I have put alot of time and effort into, to be deleted.

Most of my LS mates or friends who were deployed were able to play while they were out there. However, you obviously wouldn't be able to do much other then quest, farm, fish or craft. As stated though, if you cancel your content ID, you can usually retrieve it up to a year later.
