Many solo'ing guides emphasize having Stoneskin or some other buff up to absorbs hits when aggro is gained. The method I used will gain no aggro at all when done properly, and even got me through the lower 2 rooms (where I found my offering, incidentally).

The main thing to have is a prism powder macro:

/item "Prism Powder" <me>

The tactics are the same for each door, for both entering and exiting each room. You need a lot of prism powders for this, so it can get expensive if you have to make multiple runs. I went through about 3-4 stacks over 4 runs. (14 prism powders needed if you want to go through all 6 rooms, 9 for only 4 rooms)

1) Stand to the side of a door
2) Target the door
3) Wait for the tonberry to look away
4) Drop invisibility
5) Spam the button to open the door (I use a controller)
6) Once the "Arrow" on the door disappears, it means you have activated the door, spam your prism powder macro.
7) The cast timer should start counting to 100 as the door is opening. Once it hits 100%, immediately run through the door, regardless if you are invisible or not. Even thought it looks like you are still visible, the server registers you as invisible, so the tonberries won't see you at all.

Rinse and repeat.

I did 4 runs with my 41 SMN and didn't get hit once. I didn't use any buffs or job specific skills/magic. You just have to be careful about the way the tonberries are facing and it's pretty much cake.

The only issue is that the Tonberries in side the room can see through the doors even if they're closed, and you can't really tell which way they're looking. Even if you drop your invis for just a second, if they're at an angle that they could see you at they'll aggro you through the door before you can get invis back up.

They won't see you as long as you stand all the way to the side, basically in the corner. You can still open the door from that distance. I've even had one of them open the door as I dropped invisibility, and it didn't aggro.

Then again I'm a Taru, so it may have helped...

Hehe, I'm a RDM, and the mobs are all EP. I just walk in and train them and let them hack away at Stoneskin with Phalanx up while I look for the ???. If I get more than 7-8 on me I'll zone them to Den of Rancor. XD
