A Thought - Which of These Races Would You Play As If They Were in FFXI?

Before I say anything, I've searched this. I typed "Race" in the Search function (once word gets a lot of pages which is good). I thoroughly looked at the topic names and looked in the ones I thought may have been like this topic. I've mainly seen topics that talk about races in the game itself and not others. So, I'd like to do one to see which race (or species...not counting regular monsters) would you play if it were here? We all know FFXI will not add any new races. Like the topic says, it's just a thought. Here are the races/species:

EDITED: My computer accidentily entered the topic in before I finished it so I couldn't add the pictures in time. Although, when I did enter some in spoilers, it didn't come up. Also, I didn't post the ones that look like humans. Another FYI, some of the races may have similar stats to the races in FFXI, but it's just a thought on appearance of your choosing (or choose it for w/e reason you'd like).

Another Edit: Don't be too logical, mathematical, or w/e you want to call it. It's a thought question. I've already mentioned few of these have similar stats to the races of the game. Just asking which other race would you play as (or one of them that you'd like in the game). Also, obviously these would be altered to look more character-playable-like.

As far as want in the game, Viera. One hot female-onry fetish race is never enough.

As far as playing them, I'd stick with taru anyway.

Bangaa - Look like Mamool, so they'd be mutants or something, so not gonna work.


Burmecian - Not too bad but no thanks.


Guado - Eww no, lol. Plus we already have long-armed human type people.


Hypello - Never would happen, maybe as NPCs.


Lilties - Tarus

Moogles - Playing as moogles wouldn't work in this game I don't think. Just cause moogles have a definite back seat.

Moombas - Interesting, I'd like to see at least some NPC ones.

Nu Mou - Somewhat possible, but with their normal stats, it's just a MND based Taru I'd think, in a galka-esque body, which we don't need.

Qu - No.

Ronso - Also plausible, although bringing in a race, like mentioned before, would mess up the story, so doubt it.

Seeq - Ugly.

Viera - We already have one fetish fufilled; Mithra.

Yukes - Similar to Freya, don't even know what they are really, so nah.

Lilties, by far. They'd be the sort of physical counterpart to the Tarutaru. (Eck, someone should have told me that before I tried casting spells as one :wasted: .)

Also, since I'm a bit of a fan of FFTA, I would also say Moogle, and I'm actually going to also give some recognition to the Nu Mou. They were both cool, and Moogles would totally work in this game: after all, there are working NPCs of other races, aren't there? Not that it'd ever happen, but, that's what this thread's for, anyways.

The Guado were kinda cool . . . sort of . . . it's been so long since I last played FFX, so I don't remember much from there. I do remember the Ronso, and while they were very hospitable and all-around a generally nice people . . . they were butt-ugly. Whoever did the art for that game just couldn't draw Anthros, I swear.

And, finally, the Viera, from FFTA . . . no comment. XD

EDIT: Blarg, as for the question of which I'd actually play . . . I'd just stick with Tarutaru. :P
