BCNM Dropping like flies - Emperor Hairpin

I currently have a sky orb and I've never done a bcnm before. Anyway, what is the drop rate of "Emperor Hairpin" Not empress hairpin. I want the one that you can sell.

I have done this many times as a SMN, with another SMN and a PLD. I've lost count of how many times I've done it but not once have we got the Hairpin, so I'd say very low. I don't know the actual rate, sorry.

If you would like to improve your drop rate go on the elemental day that the mob you are fighting is the strongest and try new moon. I have noticed much better drop rates under these conditions, fights are tougher also, but nothing is free.

Dropping like flies sucks...if you're looking to just sell it's really not worth it due to the horrible drop rate and plus its only worth 400k-450k gil...You could easily do two runs on Wings Of Fury for astral rings...sell those...boom easy 400k...rinse, repeat nice income...pending if you have the seals...
