So the best DD sub would be NIn?

Ive been playing with a rdm sub but I want something better for DD, seems most that DD the best use a Nin, but other's are using thf or war? I like the dual wield which is why ill probably go for Nin as my sub but how good is it?

Warrior sub job is going to be better off in the beginning, Ninja sub while soloing, and eventually Thief sub closer to the end of the game when you can Sneak Attack some already powerful physical spells.

on a pure numbers level, after you get access to sneak attack, i believe /thf parses higher than /nin. of course /nin is still very useful. level both for maximum utility

if you only care about damage though, then choose /thf

I don't get why so many people don't even consider /war for BLU.


True, it does nothing for your spells (save for a few extra points of base STR) but berserk and double attack help your DoT from sword and TP gain. From what I've heard, subbing THF right away at 30 isn't so hot since you still don't have that many spells worth giving a boost once a minute.

I'd try /WAR until at least the 40's if you really want to put out good numbers.

I leveled mainly as BLU/THF past 30 and I'm currently at Level 73.

The spells I mainly used with SA:
- Screwdriver
- Jet Stream @38
- Mandibular Bite @44
- Sickle Slash @48
- Death Scissors @60

For end game Cannonball also works well.
