A question about Bards and Beastmasters...

Hello... I'm new to these forums by the way :)

Anywhore... If my main job is a Bard, and my subjob is a Beastmaster, will I be able to get a pet? If so I know that the pet would be lower level for obvious reasons (I think), but yeah.. would I be able to get a pet with beastmaster as a subjob?

If not, please ignore my subjob in my avatar part, so I can feel like less of a jackass... ;)

Yes, you are able to have a pet when you have it set as your subjob.

Yeah, If you go that route, I would say you'd probably want to swithch between BRD/BST and BST/BRD, depending on the situation. The first will get more parties, the second will get better monsters. I'm not exactly sure how these poke-stones work, but it seems that you could catch the appropriate leveled monster with BST main then switch and use them (within appropriate level limits).

Hmm I heard the time lapse in which the monster listens to its master isnt too long, but is it infinite if in a summon stone? I mean can I catch a Level 35 monster on one day...and use it the next week?

I know there is an ability to lenghten tame time, could it be used this way:

-Catch monster (Level 45 Malboro for example)
-Put in summon stone (dont know how to, but just doing it)
-Do something else without using the pet like trying other jobs etc or just hunting (but still not using the pet) for 2 hours to wait for the lenghtening ability to refresh

Then I would release the pet (of the stone), use the ability to lenghten the time and use it for that anmount of time (30 minutes?), then store it again and redo the whole thing...is that even possible?
