View Full Version : LVL 18 exping... what are your opinions
I'm currently trying to exp at lvl 18. I'm finding it difficult to find a good spot, there are issues with the ones in the dunes.
Since a huge group of you are over the lvl of 18 I thought I would ask your opinion.
How many of you remember where you lvled at 18? and where did you do it?
I know of the guides on ffxiclopedia and I have been using them up until this point. But the guides I found had 5-6 spots, and I wanted to know which one would be prime.
please someone... anyone... sooth my pre leave woahs.

Hmmm.. usual places, whitebone sands, secret beach..
If you really are finding it hard, solo to 19 and then move to Qufim Island is all I can say.
There may be some hidden, perfect exp camps I don't know of though D:

Did you check the BST Anthology (http://www.ffxionline.com/forums/beastmaster-anthologies/56263-index-read-me-first.html)? Maybe one of the 10-20 camp listed can work better for you.

I leveled 18-20 bst in ordelles cave- near the eco warrior npc.
I like to level with zone close by and you have a variety of pets
and gobs both directions of the tunnel. It's also a fast trip
from sandy.

Ditto. I did that same exact camp from 16 to 20.

I did a duo with a beastmaster from 17-19 on the east side of the dunes. It was real nice. No down time and good xp. Then I accidentally linked gobbies and we got dead.
anything up to 37 you just want to kill fast and safe. in all honesty, trying to charm an em and fight a t before you get leave is such a pain in the ass since your pet has a lot of trouble holding hate.
try slaughtering all ep/dc mobs in a zone because if you try to stay/heel your pet till it dies, a lot of the time it back fires and causes you further down time from healing/dying.
