Hello All,

I'm planning on doing Gobbie Bag Part 1 this weekend. I was told that I had to have some kind of fame status. Please give me the specifics if you know them. Thank you!

Just because you can't read FFXI related sites at work doesn't mean you have free license to ask everyone else to do your research for you. Wait until you can do it yourself.

I had to do the lamp quest 5 times to have enough fame to do the goobie bag quests...just to give you and idea...

Just because you don't like my questions, doesn't mean you have to post on them. General Discussion forum right? Not Topics That Mhurron Wants to Talk About forum...

Stop the Flames Please!

He's a debating type of person not a helpfull one just ignore him and he'll go away. This forum has become a place where you can't ask question anymore...and if you do they'll flame you for not using the search funtction. its like in game, there's hardly anymore helpfull people...and their reason..."Why should I?"

I don't mind helping people, as long as they DO search first. If it's obvious you didn't, you deserve the flames

well the fact that you're a little brat about ppl posting you links because their supposed to magically know that your work blocks sites doesnt mean you need to throw a shit fit about it.

and really, you -can- do this really quickly at home too.

Well, this is supposed to be a forum for discussion. It's not supposed to be a mirror for other FFXI information sites.

It's a generic statement. Obviously if I insult someone for being lazy, that makes me a spamming flamer.

Listen guy, it's not that people here don't want to help others or answer questions, but when you ask a simple question without doing any kind of research whatsoever for yourself you're kinda setting yourself up. To avoid these situations in the future, before you post a question, take 5 minutes to check a few FFXI-related information sites (namely the Wiki), and try and answer your question. If you are still unable to come to a solid answer, then post your question.

P.S. Maybe your boss/work/company has FFXI/video game related websites blocked for a reason.

So it didn't go well... I've done 15+ Basty quests. I traded 12-15 stacks of Millioncorn (36-45 trades) in Selby. I've done the lamp lighting in Jueno 2-4 times. My fame in Jueno is still 0! What am I doing wrong?

I did same but worked well for me - Boyahda Moss instead of corn
