Easiest Repeatable Bastok Quest?

Hey all, I am trying to raise fame in Bastok. I have been doing the quest where you retrieve the siren's tear near a river in North Gustaberg and give it to the guy next to the auction house for 150 gil. While this is incredibly easy it is way too time consuming taking about 20 minutes to do the quest... I've done it 10 times and I still can't get the Dezone quest offer (what I am trying to get) and it is getting mind numbing running back and forth so I am wondering if there is something easier I can be doing. Bastok Market, Aquillina (k9)

trade her four flints for a prize of 100 gil.
you can buy flints, but for more than the prize
raising fame can cost money

or you can go out and kill worms

I've always kept my flints since I started, and every time I get four I trade them to her, I've done this quest 15 times, and the same one in sandoria for flints 6 times

While doing the above quests, you can also do Onion run in Bastok market in L-8. Trade Wild Onion to Salimah from 12:00~17:59 for 350 Gils. You can only do this once a day, I believe. Onions are dropped by Goblin Thug in Vomp Hill which is right outside of Bastok Market entrance.

in sandoria what is the name of the person that you can trade flints with?

and can i trade all of the different sorfts of flints?

and I only know of one type of flint.
the others might be ores

if you won't want them, give them to me :biggrin:

Bastok's fame is not easy to raise because their repeatables are time limited. The flint quest is only available at evening every Vana Diel day, Onion Runs u need different food and zoning required.

It will take a lot of time.

Flirt is 1k/12 and return only 300...

I think onion run is better for money at low level... But also it takes a long time to zone in/out. I can only do it 6 times in 6 hrs game time...

HAH, if you got money... (well I did got money, and went broke...lol, cus trying to raise fame for Titan quest).

buy those Galkan Sausage and give it to Hungry Wolf in a tavern in Bastok Metalworks....
it`s repeatable unlimited. No time needed. also the ingot one is repeatable, but u need to zone out and zone in...lol

I think for raising Bastok fame the fastest way to do it is by doing the onion quests, but set ur hp at port mog house or bastok mines then dezone and head back inside your mog house and then use mog exit to go to market entrance. It saves you one trip to walking. So you can do maybe 10-12 runs if your fast enough.
