Speak with Brutus for the final cutscene. The chocobos who met at La Theine Plateau (http://wiki.ffxiclopedia.org/La_Theine_Plateau) are reunited and immediately start feeling better. Brutus will then tell you that he needs to speak with the VCS about all that has happened and to come back later. (NOTE: It is at this point that the quest Chocobo's Wounds (http://wiki.ffxiclopedia.org/Chocobo%27s_Wounds) becomes available if not already completed. Speak to Bruno again before the next game day to start the quest.) Wait 1 Vana'diel day and speak with Brutus again, he will thank you and reward you with a Chocobo Egg (http://wiki.ffxiclopedia.org/Chocobo_Egg_%28Bit_Warm%29).

The part that has me stumped? It's been at least 15 Vana'Diel days and Brutus has not yet given me the egg. =/

Mystery Tour didn't help either ...

5. Return to Upper Jeuno and talk with Baudin.

6. Talk again after it was past 0:00 in Vana'diel time.

I mean ... why Baudin? He has nothing to do with the quest >.>

Stupid question: Did you try leaving the zone and coming back?

I'm really sorry, I feel like you already answered this, but my brain is kinda slow right now.

I logged out in Upper Jeuno last night and had to wait till registration maintenance was done to reactivate a mule. I'll try zoning out and entering again. However, someone ought to edit that entry in FFXIcyclopedia if that is the case because I never needed to do this with obtaining my chocobo license. =/

Thanks Feba, it worked nicely.

Mhurron: It's a bug, and you know it. No one needs to zone out to do anything with regards to completing a quest (Why? The NPC is there). SE's outdated questing system is as buggy as ever I see.

A - I was saying that you can go ahead and edit Wiki if you feel its wrong
B - You have to zone out to finish quests all the time.
