Mission 4-1 magicite questions

For mission 4-1 do you absolutely have to do the preliminary side quests where you get the Quadav charm and the Quadav Augury Shell, im having a hard time getting them and I was wondering if theirs another way, I already have the other key items like the Yagudo Torch but just those two are the hard ones lol.[/URL][URL="http://wiki.ffxiclopedia.org/Quadav_Augury_Shell"] (http://wiki.ffxiclopedia.org/Quadav_Augury_Shell)

Yes, All (3) key items need to be obtained to complete the Mission.

Ya it's not a side quest, it's part of the mission.

Just get a high lvl friend...at the lowest 50...to solo both mobs for you while you wait by the entrance.

Or you could wait till you're about 45ish and solo em yourself.
