Can I be a member of more than one linkshell?

Since a LS, technically isn't so much of a clan as it is a means to chat with other people, can you be in more than one, and can you have multiple pearls, and if so how many?

I believe you can but I am not sure.

You can have as many as you like, but only one activated. If you want to change the linkshell, just deactivate one, and activate the one you like.
