Messed up In-game Problem

Lately I've been getting these weird annoying in-game mess-ups on my screen. They're like these funky colors that just go through my screen. This started like 2 days ago I think. The only thing I downloaded since then was the FFXI Model Viewer, but I don't think that's the problem. Last night a friend recommended me to shutdown my computer before I go to sleep instead of leaving it on. So I did that.

I go on the computer and nothing happens so far, but when I switch to my ele-staves, the funky colors come back on. Also, yesterday I was riding m chocobo, but the chocobo itself didn't know and each part of an area that the chocobo stepped on it started blinking. This problem has never happened before... Here are some screenshots that I tok using XFire (Legal program that supports a lot of games).

graphics card problem, usually either overheating or a driver problem.

I registered just for this. I've been having the same problem since the update. Here are my system specs

Processor: Intel 3.0 GHz HT Soc 478

Vid Card: nVidia GeForce 7800 GTX 256MB

Memory: 2GB PC3200

Sound Card: Creative Sound Blaster Live 24-bit

Also, how about giving some system specs.

It doesn't seem to be my graphics card thats the problem, I'm getting a smooth 66-75 FPS on Max settings from FEAR and Doom 3 with no issues.

Again, it's probably an over heating or a driver issue. Are you using the drivers SE recommend?

To clarify, my problem is depicted in the first image, I have no had the issues shown in the 2nd-4th. I've tried a variety of drivers (including the SE recommended one) and it seems to not affect the issue.

Did you try reinstalling the game? I had a problem where for some reason all Elvaans who were wearing Scale armor had hands which extended off into infinity. I couldn't do anything about it. One day our LS did Shadow Lord for a new member and my PC kept crashing just before the zone point to Throne Room, and no matter what I did I couldn't fix it, but after uninstalling and reinstalling/repatching it fixed everything including the messed up models.
