Hey guys i am a lvl 15 blm and today i saw a lvl 14RNG/5WHM with a chocobo. My LS said this could be from chocobo raising. Just wanted to know, can i start raising at lvl 15, but won't be able to use him till lvl 20?

If I recall correctly, you don't require a Chocobo Rider's License to start raising your chocobo.

The Chocobo Whistle item used to call your chocobo for riding however, has a lv20 requirement. You may have been mistaken about the player's job level.

Level 14 would be too low.

It might have been lvl 15, in which case, if you already have a Chocobo License, you can rent a chocobo from the stables of your nation (or maybe another nation if you're not from there, I forget.)

You must be level 20 to gain the license, and you must be level 20 to rent a chocobo from any Teleport Crag.

As far as the chocobo whistle, you wouldn't be renting it FROM the nation's stables, so you might have to be level 20 as well to call it outside the nation's stables.

Wasn't there a one-time use item given out a while ago that lets you ride a chocobo for 10 seconds even at level 1?

Aside from that, it is impossible to ride a chocobo at level 14. 15 is possible, but rare.

Onion: I had originally thought of the same thing. The item you refer to is called a Chocopass, but it only lasts for 2 minutes or until you zone, whichever is first. So, to make it to the dunes on that would be impossible (which is, I assume, where this was?).

Also, how is this related to "Chocobo raising help"?
