View Full Version : Cards Cards allways going to need cards?
I just hit lv 40 and got Quick draw, (YAY) And tomorrow (today) I'm meeting with a lv 99 alchemist who’s going to whip me up lots of bullets and cards. But what cards will I need to always keep with me, and what do I need a LOT of?
Should I keep lots of popular cards in boxes and not so used one,s just keep a stack around?
I have 55 Inventory Spaces so I'm not at max, but not far off

Earth (for slow enhancement), Wind (for Silence enhancement), Ice (for Paralyze enhancement), Light (Sleep) and Dark (Dispel) should be the majority of the card cases you carry. Water is still good for instances where poison spells are used, but not much so otherwise. Thunder And Fire are seldom used as instances where using those two to enhance Shock or Burn is rare. So they're really just for damage otherwise
I keep a lot of Light Cards decks on me since I'm often invited to pull and I'll pull in a fashion similar to a BRD when I'm needed to do so. Typically, you should only do this if there's more than enough DD in PT to cover the damage. So later on, /NIN will have some use, along with a LOT of Light Cards.
As for synthing them, don't even bother, you'll save gil if you just buy cards on the boat to Nashmau or in Nashmau from NPC. It's a little more time consuming and you'll have to set up a mule in the common #1 nation to get card cases made, but you'll end up saving some gil for doing so.
