While I'm rather doubtful S-E's dev's would ever read this, might as well toss this idea out before I /sigh at /search again.
This is not asking for ability to seek on multiple jobs; this is asking for a relatively simple modification to the /search command.
Right now, we can only use /search to find one particular job, or all jobs, but nothing in between. Often, party leaders are not looking for a single job, but rather anyone who can fill the role in the level range will do.
So, the proposal is this:
Enable searches such as:
/search all 60-62 NIN PLD
to return every single NIN as well as PLD player matching the criteria. Basically, let us input a job list rather than a single job. Please consider making this change to the commandline only (i.e. without changes to search GUI), to minimize the dev and QA resources needed.
Would the FFXI dev team consider implementing this change to /search ?
