World Pass Need to Know!!!

Dear All,

I have been on Asura for about a month and 1/2 now. I obviously have some play time in so far that I don't want to loose. I found out that my cousin has an UBER character on another server and would help me with some in-game things. Am I able to play my current character on his server via a world pass or something else? Or, is creating a new character on his server my ONLY option? Please help!

Thanks for the info. So, are you saying there isn't currently a way to transfer a character to another server in-tact then?

No, there is no current way to transfer an existing char to another server. When the server migration feature gets added, it will cost something in the neighborhood of $30 to do the transfer.

Is your profile up-to-date? It looks like your highest job is level 22. By the time server migration is available, you may be further along in the game, and your existing character might be worth the $30 you'll have to pay for a transfer.

But then, instead of waiting, you could just start over now and be able to play with your cousin right away. Level 22 doesn't seem like a big enough investment to justify waiting for server migration just so you can pay extra money. But then, I don't know what else you've been doing in that month and a half that you've been on Asura.

Another little benefit from starting over is that you could ask your cousin to get you a gold world pass, which will get you guys some silly keepsakes (like a model airship to put in your mog house after you've been playing for a year). Might be worth looking into, if you're into that sort of thing.

Ya, you're right, there is. I just didn't tell you about it because they are implementing it again and you'd be able to choose how to world shift. I just decided for you the new way is just so much cooler.
