I need to recharge my Anniversary Ring! Anyone know how?

No, you may not recharge your Anniversary Ring.

You obtain an Anniversary Ring once you talk to the Event Moogle for the first time during the event. Like in last year's event, talk to an Event Moogle and he will tell you how many times you died, joined parties and alliances, how many times you've chatted so far (per line) as well as how many monsters you killed and GM calls made.

Ain't gonna happen, sorry to say it, but its a one time deal onry. Moogles said so when they gave it out.

For the record I do have gear, it's just in my Mog Locker. I always end up teleporting Inu/Nejiko naked.

Off topic but still related to exp enhancing rings: How long ago did they change the item graphic for the Empress Band? I just noticed it last night when I popped it to solo Nin in Gustaberg.

The title might be relevant. But it was beyond confusing. The title was downright misleading.

actually u guys are kinda wrong. My LS told me that SE was gonna recharge the rings next year, for the next anniversery. So hold on to ur rings becuase it's only this year that they're giving them out.

Your LS has the same information we do, and that information says nothing about SE recharging the Anniversary rings. Someone just pulled that out of their ass.

I considered that possibility. But what about new players who join the game this year? Is SE not going to give them the opportunity to obtain an Anniversary Ring at next year's event?

It would send out bad vibes to the player base if they made it so that you couldn't get a replacement ring next year should you throw out the used up one this year. They could reward people who hold onto their current rings by making the new ones only have 9 charges instead of 10. But why do that? These events are supposed to make players happy, not make them upset over having tossed their used up ring from the previous year.

Anyways, on topic, maybe they will hand out these rings again next year. Until then, no, you're stuck with your Empress Band. No complaints from me, that ring zoomed my COR through the jungles. It may have been only 30k xp, but I'll take a free 30k at any time.

Yeah..... I've noticed that too! The 1st time I looked at it in my inv, I actually thought...... EEK! :shocked: What has happened to my precious ring?! It's all rusted up!

I thought there was something wrong with it, like it was supposed to be that colour when you have used it up, but 1 check revealed that I hadn't. I had to go check with the NPC (the one you get signet from, and the supplies quest and whatnot. I don't know what their specific names are right now) in Sandy to see that this was its normal colour, and since seeing that it was.... I can honestly, and personally say that I really HATE what they (S.E.) have changed it to! :( (I don't know about anyone else, but that's just the way I personally feel about it)

I don't know why they had to change it, but in my opinion, I think it looks worse now than it did before! :(
I personally prefer the silver one! It had a really nice, gleeming sparkle to it!

Think I should go and have a word with S.E about this! I'll bite their heads off and order them to change it back!

Nah..... I guess I'll just have to learn to live with it instead. *big sigh!*
And I guess I will overtime. :cool:
