I have noticed that when trying to level my 15 summoner in the dunes the other day, that hardly anyone is partying there anymore. When i leveld my monk and my dragoon, there was planty of people partying. But it seems to me people have ran off from the dunes just because of these goblin bounty hunters.

Anyone els think the same? Comments please.

I agree, although the bounty hunters aren't that hard to kill i hear?

For a good party they are actualy pretty easy to kill.

It probably has something to do with the fact that the dunes sucks.

Seriously, just walking around that place can give you a headache if you do it in the middle of the day. So damn bright...

For a good party that doesn't group on the water, they aren't a problem at all.

Yes i agrea the dunes is a bad place to party in, but i dont ever remember it being this bad. Hardly anyone is seeking/partying, and if i do get into a party it most always sucks.

Most parties that I've been in since the GBH update have not been a problem, even camping on the beaches you can easily kill the GBH. I at least have some noob protection by always partying with my husband (or at least one LS member) so there's at least myself and one other who is not a noob.

I honestly think people are (finally) sick of leveling there and either soloing through 20 or just finding other places to level.

I hear that most people have gone back to the "old" place. Where is this?

Valkurm is about as old as it gets.

Personally, I solo to 20+.

I hear it's outside Mhaura a lot of people are levelling up.

Buburimu Peninsula has Goblin Bounty Hunters too.

True, but Buburimu has alot more exp mobs and camps that aren't out by the water, unlike Valkurm.

I have leveled all of my jobs out of dunes accept for drk smn and pup. I honestly cant remember being in a good party in the last 5-6 times I went throught there. Back in the day it use to be great, I honestly dont know what happened. Alteast if you get a good party to go it wont be overcamped.

Buburimu peninsula and worms in Shakhrami/Korroloka are good alternatives. I don't know where all the people are at, but a lot of people solo up to level 20 now to avoid the noobness that is Valkurm. I think, though, that now that people aren't getting through that stage in Valkurm, Qufim is now at that level of general party stupidness and Yuhtunga is now more like Qufim used to be.

There are just as many mobs and camps in Valkurm that aren't near the water as there are in Buburimu! Have you people never been there? Vast expanses of sand with nary a drop of water in sight.

Vast expanses indeed ... it may be that people like landmarks.

Well, far be it from me to contend that people are smarter than they look.

Valkurm ain't exactly rife with landmarks either, but I don't really think that's a factor in party leaders' decision making process when they decide whether or not to camp there anyway.

I've spent most of my time in Valkurm parties dragging my party mates away from the coastlines. The bounty hunters can only help with that.

Just recently, I finally explored Bubu for the hell of it, and for the first time I saw the "lighthouses." Now those were some memorable landmarks. So cool.
