I noticed that since the patch occurred, you need to type <t> or <me> now while on a target instead.. This makes things a bit more annoying
example:
Cursor target is on me
/ma Warp <- no longer works
/ma Warp <me> <- works
/ma Warp <t> <- works

You might be wise next time to read the release notes:
An error message will now appear when players attempt to use magic or abilities via text commands without specifying a target using <t>, etc.
It's down toward the bottom, about 5-6 points above the new auto-translator items.

yes it was added to further gimp gillsellers and illegal macros XD
It's not really that much trouble to add the targeting tag anywho...

I didn't really like this change and it is fairly apparent that it is going to take a little while for me to adjust. I became accustomed to not using the <t> tag, especially when soloing as I just type most of my commands anyways.
Oh well, I'll gladly make this sacrifice for all of the other cool changes SE has implemented in the last few patches!

LOL same here. I have always used them, even while soloing. /ma "Something" <me>. That's how I roll, homies.
Did I just say homies? I did. Someone shoot me. /ja "One shot" Aksannyi.

There, you've been shot and I dispelled your thugishness.

You typed commands?
Man, you're special.

I typed a lot of commands out from time to time. Things I didn't need macroed, like Bar-spells and such.

I typed most if not all my spells such as refresh, haste, stoneskin, regen and cures on rdm and whm, so it completely through me off and my self timer since the time it takes for me to type haste after refresh while eating the recast for refresh fits nicely, just adding <t > through me completely out of wack x.x

If you're a good typist, menu interface isn't necesarily faster.

In the beginning, there was the command line...
Seriously... I prefer typing rarely used spells rather than managing more than one page of macros (for a given job/sub/situation combo) or going through menus every time I want to do the 21st most common thing.
I wish they'd give us Ctrl-Shift-number and Alt-Shift-number for 40 macros per page or something, but until then, I think typing is often the best available option for things that didn't fit in your macro set.

If you're a good typist, menu interface isn't necesarily faster.Exactly. And don't get me wrong, I use my menu too. But I can type fast enough most of the time that I don't need to.
In the beginning, there was the command line...And ever since, noobs have been bitching that there isn't a GUI version. STFU and learn how to type ls -a.
..Ahem. Yeah, most of the time it's quicker to type, especially when it's laggy. In Beiseiged, it could very well take you fourty seconds to pick a spell out of your menu, when you could type it in 10-15.

I hope it doesn't take me 10-15 seconds to type in any spell, regardless of where I am. ><;

I've always used <t>, <stpc> and <stnpc> in all my macros and have little diffculty tabbing through my macro menus with a Dual Shock controller. I just use the keyboard for conversation.

It's mostly an issue for people who type commands; macros just have to be fixed once, but having to type a command target every time kinda sucks, if you're not a very accurate typist like me.

For some reason, my typing goes to shit when my computer is running slow.
