A bit stuck

Ok im a bit stuck on how to get signatures loaded up on here. I made a signature using photoshop blah blah blah but when i tired it load it up it didnt work. I suddenly noticed all this stuff saying "it must be 500 by 100 and 19.5 KB" so i decided to mess around and try and get it to fit. When i had reshaped it so it was under 500 by 100 AND 16KB it still didnt work. I also noticed people with sigs bigger then this size >.< im so confused... any help?

I know someone who had a warning for his SIG, yet I've seen many more bigger than his! :-\ I don't know why that is...

Yeah, it's easier to remote link via Photbucket or some other site.
