rejoin ffxi: is bahamut a good server?

i have recently got my account up again and was wondering how bahamut is as a server .. i got a wp waiting for me.

You don't need a wp to join any server now - you are given that option when you create your character.

It depends what you want from a server. Bahamut is fairly populous (averaging 3-4k players at weekends), as it is one of the oldest servers. We do have a large jp population though, though not all are "jp only".
