Looking for a black chococard (M) on garuda

I'm not really sure the procedure for this but i cant seem to find a Male black chocobo card :( does anyone have one?

I know a couple people on Lakshmi server with male black chocobos but it won't help you much. Anyone on Garuda know anyone with a chococard for this gal?

or what would happen if i bred it with another colored choco? like red?

You would still have a good probability of getting a Black choco IF you chose the right honeymoon package when breeding them.

The honeymoon packages determine what traits from the parents are passed onto the chick, so if you are breeding a Black female and a red male, you would want the mother's traits to be passed on (so she would pass on her color).

So, choose whichever honeymoon package the NPC says is good to pass on the mother's traits.

As far as I have gathered in my research on Chocobo breeding, this method has a Good chance of giving you the color you want, but is not as surefire as breeding two blacks if you want a black.

I ended up doing this with my choco because I couldn't find a black female card. I bread a Black male with a red female and chose the sports honeymoon (passes on the father's traits).

I'll know if I have a black one in 8 more days ^_^.
