Physical Potency

Has anyone tested to see just what Physical Potency merits actually do? The in-game description is very vague...

I'd assume that they would increase the strength of your physical type blue magic either dmg wise, resist wise or both. IE: sickle slash, jet stream, headbutt, etc.

I'm pretty sure it works on the exact same principals as MAB, only in this case for physical blue magic rather than elemental magic.

MAB? That's rather fishy. I mean, sure, certainly it's a possibility that it acts as an extra multiplier, but why add an entirely new stat into the equation? It would make a lot more sense that it gives some bonus to the spell's DMG, fTP, or your PDIF.

Yeah, I sorta assumed it boosted dmg of physical spells. :P What I was wondering is whether someone had some concrete numbers yet. Ah well. I meritted it twice yesterday, just cuz I had the points.
