Hello all,
I read somewhere that wearing Gun Belt would allow to do Detonator quest at 74. My marksmanship Skill with belt on is 250. Yet I can not get quest from Cid. He keeps asking me to get Rollenberry 874>.< I tried explaining to Cid that I didn't realy care about his Rollenberry 874, but he just stayed in his crazy old man stance and ignored me :evil: .
Anyways just wondering if anyone has suceeded at getting detonator before 75.

Was 150 a typo?

Did you mean 250? I think the bare minimum to unlock the quest is 240 skill and being level 74. If your marksmanship is really 150, Gun Belt won't do a thing for you and you have about 90-100 skill ups to go. COR caps Marksmanship at 250.

It's lv 72 actually, but yes 240 skill is the default. I don't know if merits or +skill gear affect that.

In an unrelated but amusing note, I finally learned Sidewinder on my Samurai after attaining skill level 183 (lol >. > I have 4 merits so I technically had sidewinder before I actually learned it)

Yes 250 with gun belt, 245 without and I'm level 74. Maybe I need to complete Cid's Secret first, lol. This old man is off his rocker.

Did you recieve the rolanberry quest before you tried to get trial gun CS?

If so, just zone out and back in, then talk to Cid, you'll get the rolanbetter shtick again, but should get the trial gun CS the second time you talk to him.

Cutscenes are weird like that.
