So was looking on ffxiah for some profitable buys/sells, and then I got led to one thing after another - basically ended up at this:

http://www.ffxiah.com/player.php?id=851773&sid=1

How the hell can someone get hold of 7 LS's in 15 days to sell???

It can only be quested with the 10000 fish thing right?

They could have all been bought initially, not quested. Some RMT fishbot clans use Lu's so they don't have to worry about breaks as much.

1 character sells.
100 character bot fish.
1RMT.

I followed the link to see the sales history on Lu Shang itself, and I noticed a sale by another player named "Bhafa". They both start showing sales transactions at about the same time (within a week of each other). The names are so similar. They've both sold a Lu Shangs recently.

Too many coincidences.

My guess is that someone created a series of chars starting with the letters "Bah", because that's the first 3 letters of the server. I'm on Lakshmi, and I remember seeing a bunch of characters all using the same female hume char model, named stuff like "Laksba" (Lakshmi, Bastok, A-character), "Laksjb" (Lakshmi, Jeuno, B-character), etc. I guess naming conventions make it easier to manage their resources, especially if they have them spread out over multiple servers.

This may be an indication that our good ole Goblin Bounty Hunters are being effective if a fish-bot is dumping his Lu's. ie. he has multiple fishing mules each with a Lu, sent them to all 1 Char. and is dumping them. Of course maybe they all got an Ebisu instead lol.

Agreed. And this has been happening for a while - after a while you grow kind of immune to it...

GMs know about it too, I've called them numerous times and explained the entire scheme in simple words, and still nothing.
