Scorpion Harness

I am Monk level 72, and so far I have been able to NEVER, I repeat, NEVER borrow, use, ask, buy the scorpion harness. But since the price went soooo down.................... i bought it about 20 minutes ago for 510.000 gil, and last one sold for 530.000 gil. Someone tell me, did i do good to buy it, or i wasted 510.000 gil just to have an equip that is "famous"? Almost everyone use it and i never used it, i felt kinda different lol, but now that i have it... i don't know i felt like i could live without it.

What body piece were you wearing before? I'm not familiar with what kind of gear choices MNKs tend to go for at end-game. It looks like MNK AF gives +5 acc, which isn't too dire. But look at it this way: SH gives you +5 more acc, which allows you to wear a little bit less acc in other slots.

I was used to wear monk AF (yes, accuracy+5 is nice) and i recently bought arakan samue, AGI+4 attack+5 evasion+10 subtle blow+3. But yes, having +5 more accuracy allows me to wear less accuracy crap and evasion+10 is awesome for soloing. Thanks for the reply guys.

Both SH and Arakan look pretty good for soloing, with maybe Arakan having a slight edge due to the +AGI and +subtle blow.

SH looks better than Arakan for party DD situations. I would definitely trade 5 atk for 10 acc any day, since you can get back that attack fairly easily elsewhere.

I was thinking about selling the arakan, it was worth 150.000 gil. what do you think?
