Players to avoid

DO NOT (and I repeat) DO NOT party with someone called SpiderMage on Bahamut.

Trust me, you will regret it.


I hadnt heard of him until last night's party, and afterwards when myself and another LS member had to disband the party and rant to LS, most of the LS knew him as well.

Apparently on same par as BirdHair.

For those of you that dont know him or would like to know what he is like in a party, here are a few interesting notes:

*Thinks Bio II and Bio stack
*Think Bio is better than Dia becuase of DoT....against a NIN tank
*Casts Ancient Magic throughout fight ->
*70-80% of all spells fully resisted ->
*Has no AF or any other half useful replacement gear
*Is on 0MP within 30 secs of fight
*Does not sleep links
*Insists he is not a noob
*etc etc

Just a word of warning, threads like this almost always become nothing but a flame fest...unless it's locked to just the people on one side of a disagreement.

Old news for the people that have been on thsi server for a while, but new to me - and I consider this as a warning to those still unsuspecting.

As for flaming, the purpose of this thread is not to flame. Its more like a notice, and I hope as many people who play on Bahamut read this as they can to avoid wasting their time like I did.

The other problem is, we're only getting your side on this. And while I know you, and Kirsteena knows you, the average reader here probably doesn't. So this is providing a biased POV that isn't really fair.

I'm sure your experience with him was terrible. But seriously - lesson learned, time to move on.

OK, so he's a bad player, that's different from being a horrible person. If I'm running a search and my options are (1) Stupid player and (2) backstabbing, selfish, greedy player, I'm going with the stupid guy because at least stupid doesn't make you a bad person.

I manaburn with a pretty dumb BLM a lot. In other situations, such as missions, he as always T4ed and AMed when it wasn't neccessary. Its his funeral and I'll laugh as he dies, but at the end of the day, he's a lot nicer than some players I know.
