OK i decided to ask the ninjas here about a few personal experiances tanking gods. I t2t genbu very easy no problems at all never had problems fighting genbu ever. But i basically got dropped in the main tanking slot even tho i was accepted for my drg and drg abilities. We have a few fights i have never tanked or even been a back up on, so i would like your personal exp and advice to give me a heads up on the fights from a ninja tank eyes ( have done these as drg many times 50+ easy). Have Seiyru and Suzaku this weekend and maybe byakko. Thanks in advance for your time. /salute

legs: Yasha leg ( the hp+25, spell int -2%, emnity 2)
feet: Fuma(lvl 72 ones)
neck: PCC
earring: Intruder, Cassie, Eris
Rings Mermaid, Bomb Queen Ring, Jelly Ring
Waist: Swift Belt
Back: Boxer mantel
weapon: Earth Staff, or Mg Katana and Imanosurgi

i actually got hurt irl so we didnt do gods lol when i tank them ill post myt strat if you need the genbu strat which is simple let me know ill post that as well.

i will update this concerning Genbu and Suzaku today doing all 4 lesser this weekend and ill update my strat. Came asking for advice looks like im giving it O.o god help us all lol

lol, sorry, I've been busy, haven't had too much time to poke around here. I'm not to worried about you giving advice.................I think =X

Um...actually...due to a lack of available haste items for myself...I've gotten around to building a bit of a defense set...which primarily doubles as my enmity set on top of that...though I definitely need upgrades in both sections, but for now it works.

weapon: Earth Staff
head: arhat's jinpachi (looking to upgrade, no money though)
neck: evasion torque
hands: arhat's/yasha tekko
earrings: eris/elusive (planning to buy another eris)
body: arhat's (aiming for upgrade here)
rings: mermaid/jelly ring
back: haven't decided, looking to pick a new piece probably more enmity
waist: warwolf
legs: arhat's
feet: arhat's (looking for yasha)
Along with pro5, defender, and tav taco, I get around 560defense with 35% dmg reduction.
I purposely ran into faust while we were fighting it, and from typhoon I took 90dmg around. My only problem is I need more enmity to hold hate, I haven't tried tanking him yet.....some of my LS members are skeptical of it working...but I'm absolutely positive I can make it work.

you need haidate among other things to pull off nin/drk at full strength havent got around to writing the starts up yet been busy at work

Basically what i used to use. but havent God tank in awhile. I call this my Pld macro. High Vit, Nice Def an Hp not counting buffs from spells or food. Last time i tanked in this set up lady luck was on my side. Everytime shadows was down an i was trying to cast it back up i managed a parry. I took a picture somewhere of it being a total of 10 times..

Ranged: Ungar Boomerang
Ammo: -
Head: Genbu's Kabuto
Neck: Evasion Torque (i use another torque that i cant remember as well)
Ear1: Cassie Earring
Ear2: Eris earring
Body: Kirin's Osode
Hands: Seiryu's Kote
Ring1: Mermaid Ring
Ring2: Bomb Queen Ring
Back: Nomad Mantle +1
Waist: Warwolf Belt
Legs: Koga/Byakko's Haidate
Feet: Fuma-Sune Ate
Food wise i usually bounce around. Sometimes i go with DD food. Sometimes go with tank food, Other times i went with Eminity. Side note i used DD ninja gear to pull off a Ws. Switched to this set up for tanking purposes. An if i had to claim hate back from a heavy nuke or after a death i had +30 emiity to fall back on.
