Update Trouble

I Don't know if this is the right place to post this or not, but the new update doesn't seem to be downloading. It's stuck at the Preparing Update phase at 0% and hasnt moved for an hour. Has this happened to anyone else?

Not accusing you of using 3rd party tools but are you trying to update while launching from windower?

Several people that use windower I know have trouble downloading in windower mode, if you are, just update by launching full screen.

No I definetely do not use 3rd party tools ^^ My Playonline has always been in window mode, I have just been too lazy to change it. I'll try updating with full screen right now and tell you the results when I get back.

yea, it's not that it's windowed, POL does come windowed, it's on the windower that causes the trouble

Other than that I don't know what to tell you. Mine had long pauses inbetween files, but never an hour.

Best I could suggest is reset all your connections, PC, Router, Modem and wire directly from modem to PC if that is possible.

Yes! Thank you Necro! I went into PlayOnline Viewer Config and changed it to fullscreen mode, and the update finished in less than a minute. :)
