View Full Version : Supply quest glitch?

A few weeks back, I finally obtained Rank 10 in Windurst and then proceeded to wait for 2 weeks until Windurst got 1st place so I could get my Aketon.

As soon as I got my Aketon, I traveled to Bastok and switched nations. Within just 2 days, I had blown through missions and was Rank 5, but with no Conquest Points. Since I had not done any supply quests I went ahead accepted the quest to Gustaburg (The only OP that I didn't do as a Windurstian, even though I know they all have been erased). After trotting out to the outpost, I was rewarded with 10 conquest points.

I returned to the gate guard, waited for the day to change, and accepted the Kolshushu supplies, and then teleported to Mea. I walked to Buburimu and handed the supplies over, got the message that I had gained conquest points, but after checking my /rmap, I still only had the 10 conquest points that I got for Gustaburg. In other words, I got no CP for the Kolshushu supplies.

I wrote it off as a fluke, I mean, I got the OP warp which is really the important thing I guess.

Then just the other day, I was headed to the dunes as my lv. 20 pup to solo and I took the Zulkheim supplies with me. I checked my CP total, handed over the supplies, received the conquest point message, but my total didn't change again.

Is this a game wide glitch? Is it because I had already gotten those OP as a citizen of Windurst?

I know it isn't game breaking, but getting rank 10 in Bastok doesn't look like it will take a long time and I really want to get the CP for the Aketon here.

My guess is that you can only get CP from a supply quest once-per-region.

At least you're not out that much CP. 10 CP for doing a supply quest to Gustaberg? I think the most CP I've gotten from is around 50 or so CP (not that I've paid close attention to the exact amount). 50 CP will take 500 exp in a region under your nation's control. So the supply run doesn't provide that much of a reward.

If you want to work on CP without relying on stuff like Expeditionary Forces, you could try leveling a lowbie job in one of the foreign controlled newbie zones. Or if you have BST leveled, you could use a Jug Pet to go farm a zone with a bunch of low EPs.

I just saw the following in today's update's notes:
- Supply quests can now be undertaken only once a day (Earth time).
*Players must wait until 0:00 JST before attempting to retake the quest.
Are people using warp hacks to build up CP? Other than RMTs abusing supply runs to build CP and cash in on conquest items, I'm not sure why SE would feel the need to make this change.

I was wondering why they changed it too. Supply quests are one of the few methods I have to keep enough CP for my xp ring.

I'm glad I have most of my outposts done. usually when I went after outposts I would do 3 new ones in a day. I've only got a couple areas left so it doesn't have a huge impact anymore, but I feel sorry for new players wanting to get the hometown zone op, valk, and any rarely controlled regions done on a partyless day.
