Fishing Bots/Gill Sellers in Qufim

Note: This Thread is about botters and gill sellers in Qufim, not wetherr MPKing is right or wrong. So lets cut the crap and stop talking about the MPKING being wrong, cause It will get you no where in this thread. This is just about the disgusting situation in Qufim and what can be done. I mentioned a way that was used, rather by the rules or not and that is all. You provide your own way if you don't like it, don't argue it like a little kid.


Well I just took a look at the coast at H-8 to see over 70 fish botters going at it. Wow. Um... Kind of ridiculous. lets see... their names consist of "asdfas" and "uadks" and so on... Hmm? Can something be done?

And there were much much more... I'll have to take a better screen shot later.

Well a temporary fix would be to get agro from banshees, run up to them, and then DC! It works well^^

Very nice, but I dunno how it worked for you, I tried to do every PK possible to my 2nd char (on 2nd computer) 6 months ago and NEVER worked.

Perhaps SE "fixed" PK system again, I loved and hated PK, but love more than hate. :thumbsup:

Seeing this many bots around just makes me hate S-E even more. They let the bots in game and banned me instead. Just stupid. Not like FFXI is a new hot popular game anymore you know. Those RMT botting may be their main income for the game already.

Banshee won't depop because it pops rediciously close to the fishbotters. In fact, otfen they aggro on their own. Thats why the bots set HP at the qufim outpost at dalkfutt's tower. Oftentimes the banshee is juuuuuust out of agroo range.

No, For Fact, I fellow ermm..... "player" got agro from a banshee by hitting. (level 70ish) And Had it chase him to the Fishers. He then Dc'ed and about 20-30 seconds later the Banshee began killing! This is completely true. (You can) Test it out (at your own digression, knowing the rules). We could only make this succeed on 1 out of every 3 banshees or so. It may depend on exactly how you get the agro.

I never said I MPK'ed anyone. I just implied a solution and gave note on someone who had shown me a solution since the GM's wont take action. And I wish I was the one who did it. Gill Sellers ruin our economy and nothing is being done about all those fish botters that have been there for quiet awhile.

I wouldn't support MPK'ing but considering the obvious Fish botting... and the ridiculousness of this all, I do. I'm not saying i MPK, but hell, If I start to and they ban me for it, Where would the justice be in that when there is a map full of people obviously botting.

I'd just like to make an observation... YOU CANT GET BANNED FOR MPKING!!! At most u can get suspended if u have a clean record. And also, I dont think the GMs care about these Boters. The GMS know who they are and what they're doing. The only reason why they're not banned is b/c they dont have proof. And further more. WHY DO YOU CARE?! DO YOU SUPPORT GILSELLING?! (I'm done with this back n forth ridiculousness. This thread is about the gill sellers in qufim, and how to stop it, if you know of something or have a similar occurrence, share it. Don't argue weather a mentioned method was right or wrong. Just simply revel in the disgust of the Botting. I cant believe you would go to so much trouble just to condem MPKING bots, and not even touch on the subject of this thread, botting, a major violation in the play online agreement.)

Where you're wrong here is that they are not inflating the economy at all now, trends set forth in the ToA expansion began to deflate things so much they couldn't fight it. They have to play into the deflation trend and now also have taken up more warp-hacking and botting than they once did in the past.

And fishbotters are just the tip of the iceburg, try doing AF coffers now. There is always a trio of RMTs strategically placed the coffer section of almost any coffer map in the game. There's always a Mithra THF and Taru BLM and some variant race/job character there trioing for coffer keys and popping the chest. It has been well over 6 months since i did any AF coffers, but I had never seen RMT hogging them like this before. CZB coffer key is not only almost impossible to get, the chest is now even more problematic.

one would have to be very naive to believe that you did not partake in MPK-ing these bots...

anyway, it has already been shown once before that the new STF does in fact do something (same scenario, different server -- GM came and mass banned all of them). it might take a while for a response, but they have done something so I would suggest you leave it to them. taking matters into your own hand will, in fact, make your own account susceptible to being banned.
