This is Vrrllyrr, nominal leader of SAFA.
What is SAFA? We're an LS devoted to helping folks getting their AF. We help with a few other things as well, such as 5-1 and 5-2 missions and G1 and G2. We meet every Sunday in Ru'lude Gardens at 2pm Pacific/5pm Eastern.
So if you need AF, either NMs or some keyhunting done, we'll be more than glad to help out. :D
Or if you like to help folks out or just need some skill ups, we're good for that too.
Send /tells to Vrrllyrr, Acinonyx, Catwho, Liedner and Chesty and we'll make arrangements to get you an LP.
There are a few ground rules though:
First, don't expect us to be able to help you out the first time you show up. There are members who have been with us longer who may have been waiting for a while to get their AF. I want to be as fair as possible to everyone, so I try to help out those with seniority first. Of course, if you need something that someone else needs as well, we're more than willing to combine the two goals.
Second, we travel into quite a few dangerous places. And we have a very limited mage support most days. I would highly suggest either a lvl'd /whm or /rdm or have oils/prisms with you when we are travelling. The ability to stealth yourself will help things go smoother and quicker overall.
Third, I try to know about all the AF quests possible, but, I'm the only one. Its important that you know what is needed for your AF quests. You don't have to have a map to find your way around, but having all the cutscenes covered and NMs ready to trigger before we meet is going to help speed things along for you.
Fourth, this is issue is kind of minor, but if you have the time, grab the tele-points. Travel time is a big issue with our group. We do a lot of running around. :p Good for the cardio, bad to the clock. It always helps to have the tele-points, not just for SAFA, but for other gaming needs as well.
Fifth, On key hunting, we can be at it a while trying to get keys (*shakes fist at Beaudeux*). Sometimes we get fairly nice drops. We do not hunt for drops, and therefore, lotting is not allowed, unless its an item that is used by your job, (ie, it helps you xp). Other than that, unless otherwise stated, we do not lot for items, with the obvious exception of keys for those who need 'em and testimonies if they drop.
