Does Square Enix intend to release FFXI Merchandise similar to what WoW is doing?

I've seen it a lot lately all the WoW T-shirts and the buttons and book bags and patches and what not. I just kind of feel left out that the best we can do to represent FFXI is to order a shirt with one of the three country's insignia on it from the Square website.

I just wanted to see if there was any plan to bring out FFXI related merchandise similar to WoW's stuff. Regarding the past, there probably isn't as most Square games have seen little memorabilia brought state side that isn't imported. But I figured it might be good to make the suggestion.

There's a lot of fan-made stuff out there already, what with all the deisgn-your-own t-shirt websites. Personally I wouldn't wear any of it, except for maybe the Connection Loss hat, but I'm not even a hat kind of guy.

Aw man, this is pretty cool... I'd have to wonder what the quallity of non-licenced materials would be like. But still, some really awesome shirts and stuff there. Thanks so much!

I didn't even find most of those shirts to be remotely clever, well, except this one:

Yeah, I found most of them to be pretty uninspired. And unless I could see what the shirts looked like in person, I'd be hesitant to buy one.

Of course, I'm not much of an "amusing t-shirt" kind of guy anyway.

I dunno... I kinda liked the Bumper Sticker that said "Don't Get Too Close, I aggro!" I like the Raise Boxers too LOL... Shirt wise, there could be better... same for messanger bags.
