ok if your where a level 75 galkan monk with full hp gear cant you easly have aroudn 2.5k hp?

I can't say for certain. There's a Hume NIN in my LS that has just under 2k HP with merits and gear. So as a galka I would guess you could get close to 2.5k.

Check this setup (http://ffxi.allakhazam.com/profile.xml?160034). It is a Galka MNK75/WAR37 built for HP. This shows him at a base HP of 1876, and after gear he is 2186. For some reason, it doesn't add the +HP% gear on, so add another 28% of the base HP (I think it is off base) and you get 525 more for a total of 2711 HP. This is well over 2.5k.

Max out HP merits and you end up with 80 more for 2791.

Mind you, this is with Relic +1 armor and some other stuff thats hard to get like Bomb Queen Ring.

I don't know about easily, but it sure is possible.

Have seen Galka MNKs in my SKY/HNMLS with around 2400 HP from things like Bomb Queen Ring and Relic +1. Have also seen some Galka PLDs with around 2100 HP.

The Mnks primarirly helped w/deaths and tanking and adds and such. But it was really cool to see such high HP totals lol.

Yes Dark a Galkan Mnk can have over 2.5k hp if dont right with best gear ... BEST gear... not everyone can get that so if your trying to say your friend is weak cause he don't have 2.5K stop he should have 2K

I don't know many Galkas, but I have an Elvaan Mnk in my LS that has 2300+ hp. He has quite a bit of good gear and merits, so I would think that a Galka could easily top 2.5k with the same setup.

Kinda depressing though as the whm that even a Divine Seal + Cure 5 won't fill him to full HP if he's in the red...only cures for 1900ish hp.

mnk/sam would be better. 98% certain sam has 2nd highest HP growth in the game.
