well i havent checked on him since i think late november last year so should i not check him and just go along my marry way or sit threw hours of updates about him

They have updated it so that multiple days are condensed. ITs probably ready to be forcibly retired so you might as well go do that much, then go on your merry way.

Yea, check on him.. They'll group together the days where 'nothing changed' or your chocobos status remained the same/same care plan/etc... You'll probobly want to go ahead and retire him if he isn't already forcibly retired or... well... he may have run away lol.. who knows!

yea i did that once and still had to sit a long time through the love sickness and all that crap and it still took awhile and i yet to check on him im afaid it might eat my taru bc i havent fed it in over 5 months
