How I ended up stuck in the Tahongri Canyon as a WHM...

Well, I was sitting around Aht Urgan waiting for another BLM to pop up so we can duo, when I hear a person shout for a Teleport-Mea. Ater 5 times and he still hasn't gotten a Teleport I invite him and go to change to WHM so I can teleport him and warp back. When I cone out, he trades me 3k and I go to teleport him... oh but wait, I'm the wrong job. 37 RDM/18 WHM. So I say "{I'm Sorry}, <job> " to him, and flustered, run back out as a WHM/RDM, so Fast Cast can help a bit. He's been waiting long enough right? Well, I teleport, he says Thank You, and goes off on his merry way, while I start casting warp. Wait.... What warp? your /RDM, remember?

man i do that alot from like leveling and stuff and forget i had a different sub but some times its fun to walk you can kill things along the way getting random items

I ended up walking to Kolshushu OP and ended up at Tavnazian OP... so I switched to BLM at safehold then skilled up dagger untill I got an EXP inv.

'Cept they were both for porting friends after farming as BLM/THF. I go to MH and change to WHM, but forget to change sub... d'oh! One time I just OP'd from Kolshushu and the other I Altep'd and changed in Rabao (cheaper).

Ah, man...I remember giving Teleports as subbing SMN, THF, or NIN and then kicking myself when Warp wasn't in my spell list!

Now I always double check before Ibefore a teleport now, to see if I'm /BLM or atleast have a cudgel handy...Once, while waiting in Al Zhabi with an alliance for Besieged to start up, someone in my linkshell had apparently died in Yhoator Jungle and needed a raise. So I figure, "Sure, I'll tele, raise, and warp back, I'll be gone for like, 10 seconds."

I get up, tell my group "BRB" and proceed to cast Teleport-Yhoat with out disbanding, taking my entire party with me! Not only that, but with SMN sub, no way to get home. We ended up huffing it to Mhaura for the ship and got back in time for Besieged... but let's just say I wasn't very popular at that moment, and I'm very careful with teleports now :wasted:.

I haven't done neither of those, but my best friend has done the opposite where he starts to tele and vanishes, but whoa me, I'm still standing in the same spot because he forgot to invite me to party. XD

Since I almost always keep my character on Red Mage even though I haven't leveled it lately, my subjob is already set to BLM before I even change jobs. At any rate, easy fix is to Teleport-Altep myself, run to Rabao (closest telepoint to a town) and change jobs for the trip back.
