Does it work with blue magic at all? Or is it just sword weapon skills?

Considering it only works when mainhanded, and that it would effectively mean all your CA'd spells would have at least 100 TP, I seriously, seriously doubt it. It would be simple to test, though, if someone has one and BLU high enough to wield it.

I'd say no as Having a Hagun equiped does not effect Ranged WS so I doubt a Sword would effect Blue magic, if that makes sense :/

I think this is right up there with Martial Knife... seems like a good idea, but its really just crap.

Hagun doesn't work with Ranged WS because
A) There's a Bow for that already and
B) Safe to assume it's GKT WS only.
However, your blue spells are affected by TP and the accuracy of your main hand weapon... As I neither have the sword nor a high enough lv BLU, I'd greatly appreciate if anyone could take up the challenge and test it. On paper, it sounds like it would work. If it doesn't, then oh well. If it does, then WOO HOO! ^^b
I'm more curious if the Martial Anelace would only work when you have 0TP.
All of the Rare/EX weapons that drop from the various KSNMs work when you have less than 100% TP. Because your TP is reset to 0% at the time you use your WS is why they kick in during the WS.
Now I have no proof of this, but it would make sense if the Martial weapons work in the very same way. That it basically added 100% TP into the calculations for damage. So It would seem that anybody who can sub BLU could test this out.
Keep in mind this is just a theory, and if I had a Martial Anelace I'd go test it out right now.

I thought Martial weapons only gave TP bonus to weapon skills used with said weapons. And since blue magic doesn't actually use the weapon (only consumes TP) it wouldn't make sense if it recieved the bonus as well.
However, closing Light with a 200TP (+100) Savage Blade would do some nice damage.

I have been looking at this weapon and have a couple questions:
1) Does it work only with the second+ hits from multi hit WS? Example: Vorpal Blade, the +100 tp would kick in on the 2nd, 3rd, 4th hits since you would be at 0 tp?
2) TP is reset to 0% at the time you use your WS is why they kick in during the WS? (it would work for all hits but the first hit will have an extra 200tp, and every hit there after will have 100tp)

I highly doubt it anyways.2) TP is reset to 0% at the time you use your WS is why they kick in during the WS? It makes more sense for it to add 100 TP to your total, check your total and then use it/set it to 0. Why would it add 100 after your TP was "used" towards the WS?

None taken. Can't take offense when you are asking about someone else's theory. I just trying to understand how this weapon works. I read a few post which people say it just adds 100tp to your weapon skill. I have read other post which said you need < 100 tp for the tp bonus to activate. Anyone know the requirements it take to cause the tp bonus to activate?

You need 100TP because the weapon only gives the TP bonus to the Weapon skill, not to you, so you still need to get at least 100TP to use a WS.
What the weapon does is add 100TP to your current TP when calculating the WS' effect.
So if you use a WS with 100TP it will do the dmg/effect it would do at 200TP, if you have 200TP it will pretend you have 300TP and if you have 250TP it will still be 300TP effect as it will never go over 300.
PS > I hope I didn't confuse you even more XD

That whole slew of weapons are what you're thinking of. They only activate with under 100% tp or when you WS (Because your WS wipes you to 0 before it's actually performed, apparently).
Gogo tp-spam encouragement...
Replying old statement, I know.

Vorpal Blade is multi-hit WS with critical hit TP mod, so it may not be so crap before you get perdu hanger in your hand.

Woah Snap, didn't know the base damage was that high.
I still think Dissector's a damn good sword though.

It's not bad. It's pretty "meh" though - any job that can equip Dissector can find something much better. Perdu Hanger runs circles around it in terms of raw DPS, and that doesn't even take into account the Attack and Acc that affects both hands (whereas Dissector's crit rate only affects Dissector.) The Lv.73 Slayer swords and Senior Gold Musketeer's Scimitar are also far stronger than Dissector. There's pretty much no room for Dissector among the best swords BLU can equip.
