Anyone have any info about the higher level monk haste belt?

Need to fight 3 NMs, need to have finished Monk Purple belt quest, need high Tenshoudo fame. One of the NM pops every 3 days

Theres a quest for the purple belt, what is it?

Purple belt quest is obtained from Paujean in Port Bastok. He's in one of the warehouses, just outside the airship office.

You need to hunt NMs Lumbering Lambert and Rampaging Ram. The items you need are –\‘–—Y—r‚ÌŠp and ‹¶—?—Y—r‚ÌŠp. Apparently the items aren't ultra rare drops... One page notes it as a possible-100% drop rate, but I don't know how old that information is.

The drops themselves are probably 100% but the NMs are pretty rare. I've been hunting RR for days after I got my LL drop >< Killed so many Tremor Rams in the meantime. Is there a set pop timetable for RR or is it just a random pop in place of the Tremor Ram?

ramdomly, jonny. and beaware, RR still able to kill 40s...

I manage to kill it with it only left 1/5 of HP + using 2h when i want 40... (using evil mind to let it kill poor taru.. :biggrin: ) it giving me 20-40 per damage.

Where do you find LL and RR? What level do you recommend me doing this? What if I was in a party? I really wanna save 50k here, thanks for your help guys.

Lumbering Lambert = La Thiene
Rampaging Ram = Konshtat

I recommend partnering with a RNG to help scan the area. Like Dbeeo said, you're still at risk at 40... So be careful.

Lumbering Lambert was the most thrilling fight I had for a long time. I spotted it in LaTheine and asked on the LS how hard it was... Nadyxes said I could solo it and he would come to help if needed. So I started soloing it and it was whooping my ass, needless to say...

Nadyxes never made it in time, but I beat it with about 5HP and 2MP left. It was close but I was lv40 with fairly crappy equipment. Now I'm level 41 and I've got up-to-level equipment so it shouldn't be so bad. I guess if I cast protect, blazespike, enfire and regen in advance it would help next time ;) It was just such a spur of the moment fight.

...and in my experience, they both pop fairly close to the crags. LL is a bit south west of Holla, RR is a bit west of Dem.
