Good Job. I remember when I did that on my server... took me ~3 hours of EXPing and ~2 million in items(back when NQ SH where 15 mil btw) composing of mostly repeded trips delivering lv70+ 10k items, but I finally got it. I'm never losing that outpost by switching nations, ever.

keep in mind that one person doesn't have to eat the 5.3M, if 53 windy citizens contribute 100k worth of mythril picks to gustaberg outpost then we should have all the region points we need.

and the bastok vendor has iron swords that you can buy for 7.4k gil that will put a dent but not as much as mythril picks

and do not forget that leveling up in gustaberg or korrokola also helps the cause. if any armor drops from mobs, trade it to outpost. every little bit counts.

only problem i have with darts is that you need tons of inventory space and several peeps helping you out in trading them. if that region is controlled by a nation in 3rd place, darts don't cut it at all. mythril bolts are much better option, as long bastok is in 2nd place or better in conquest.

spamming low level stuff when it is too close to call, however, works wonder. i spammed about 50 brass xiphos bought from sandy vendor for 3500 gil each in the final minute to put windurst on top to stay.

mythril picks only cost about 10k to make, yet give huge increases of region influence even if your nation has minor status. this is what we traded; once they were only giving moderate status we made the switch to the brass xiphos.

oh yeah, when we took kolshushu, it only took us about 350k worth of stuff. starter regions are much more expensive. about 2.4M of that 5.3M was actually a result of goldsmithing skillups from 55 to 60 more so than contributing to the cause, but all those mythril cuiasses were traded to the outpost.

its much easier to claim a region controlled by a nation that is in 1st place than in 3rd place. gustaberg tends to be the easiest one of the three to claim, sarutabaruta the hardest.
