Whats this for? I know Im supposed to use them with the Strange Apparatuses, can anyone give me an idea?

It's mostly where the Rune weapons and Arcane Flowerpot come from. Some of the items gained from this little 'side-quest' aren't half bad, and can be sold for a bit of profit, depending on your server.



EDIT: Wow, ok, my web browser must have time travel technology or something in it. Gotta love when I can post after someone and have the time stamp read as being before them. XD

I don't have any actual experience with them, but this (http://ffxi.somepage.com/questdb/510) and this (http://wiki.ffxiclopedia.org/Strange_Apparatus) should cover it pretty well. You could probably find info on Allakhazam, too, but I'm too lazy to look.
