So... You're using a Tarutaru, and you can do damage. What's your point?
(And, where are your sentences as well as most of your punctuations? >_<; )

Go there and solo or duo. almost everything is weak to perircing except for the gobs. go packin as /rdm and you'll be fine.
Theres a lot of Drg taru haters out there...i got it when i was elvaan and went drg/whm. Funny thing was my cures and healing breaths were more than a taru at lvl 60 with AF helm. Elvaan Drgs have 1st highest mnd out of all the races and using /whm to solo is ace i think.

As a drg/mage... I wouldn't recommend fighting any of those except maybe the goobbues. Bat trios can one shot you with Jet Stream, especially since DRGs tend to stay under 75% when soloing. Pre-60 the HB trigger is too low for one shot attacks too. The flies and gobs have nasty AOE so that's not good either. AOE = dead wyvern = dead dragoon.

For starters, people that have something against Tarutaru dragoons have problems. I know some Tarutaru melee players that kick some serious butt. You just need the right knowledge of how to do your job and at least some decent gear to match.
As for soloing, it's not easy before your AF helm but it is very doable, I know that for a fact. The key is knowing your limits and your enemy's limits, and most of all knowing what you're doing. It's not easy, but if you do it right it's not all that bad.
The thing that people have against dragoons just disgusts me. The job is highly underrated and ignored because people prefer to see huge numbers at once than to have awesome damage spread out over time (which, I can confirm, leads to faster exp for those of you whom like to deny it >.>)....
Let people think what they wish. Who cares if they stereotype our job and think it sucks? Let me hear them say that again after I party with them and/or save their hides as MY dragoon.
You might want to work on your grammar and spelling, by the way. It's burning my eyes.
Your sig kinda sucks too.
*cough* You were saying?

No punctuations, no sentences, and no paragraphs mean you make yourself harder to understand. That's detrimental whether you're trying to make a point or ask for assistance.
In FFXI-speak, you're gimping yourself.
It also means I didn't bother to read beyond the portion I've quoted--if you can't be bothered to write it in a legible manner, then it can't be important enough to worth my time to read it. :P

No, we don't HAVE to read your posts, you're right.
But it also helps us understand what it is you're talking about. Did you not ASK for help in another thread you started? How can you get help if no one understands you?
You'd be helping yourself by making yourself clear.

He doesn't flame or troll.
He never has a bad thing to say about FFXI.
He generally posts asking for advice about the game or just sharing his experiences.
In short, the kind of person these boards were made for.
Obviously the only sensible course of action is to flame the shit out of his punctuation.

Hes posted about killing a summon.
No reason for the post but because it was illegible people tried to answer by giving their stratigies.
He called them idiots.
I dont feel better about myself because you dont have a basic understanding of punctuation and neither do half the people who reply, they are merely suggesting spending some extra time on your posts so that people can actually understand you. Practising on online boards will help you for your future!

All advanced jobs, including DRG, can be obtained at level 30 - you should be able to handle most of it solo, may want some help for the dragon fight at the end tho :)

Darkages is a nice guy. I spoke to him in tells and he speaks like any other normal person.
Some ppl just don't use puncutation. -shrugs- Makes it a little harder to read, sure. But, the ideas and concepts he speaks of are -not that inescapable.-
Bleh... ppl just like to put others down to make themselves feel good. So what else is new? Why not flame that shyt instead?

Actually, there wasn't much flaming until he said he didn't care enough to try to use proper grammar etc. Up until that point, most people were pointing out that it may be easier for him to get his point across by using proper grammar. Laziness and lack of knowledge are completely different things. I would feel worse if people were flaming him over stuff he didn't know. However, it's clear from his posts that he simply doesn't care enough to try. That's fine. He doesn't have to make every post a perfect model of punctuation, but to get mad because people call him on his apathy is ridiculous.
Regardless, most of the 'flaming' (ie: calling people idiots and dumbasses) seems to be coming from DA and his supporters. There's a prime example of this above mine.
In the end the best course of action for anyone that has issues with him is to probably just ignore his posts and move on. Ignoring the few that react to him seems to work wonders as well.

I'm amazed this thread is still going on. If everyone just ignored darkage's posts, this wouldn't be happening.

Civility is completely lost on you? In an attempt to show someone that they were being nitpicky and should just overlook certain things and go on about life w/o alot of useless reactivity, you've gone and proven the point of the absurd yourself. /bravo
The point is not about punctuation. It's about being civil. In an attempt of a few words to show that you can't throw stones while you live in a glass house, you've gone and skewed it. I'm not sure which is worse. People in general or the lack of simple, basic, everyday generosity.
