Is it possible to solo the AF Body NM at a LV75 job?

I've been wondering this for sometime. I would assume possible 75 RDM/NIN could possibly solo the AF Dark Elvaan NM in Fei'yin, but I've never heard nor seen of anyone doing this.

I've been to the battle several times, but its always been with an alliance. I've always wondered however.

Anyone know?

It's possible to solo on RDM/NIN but risky (and you need pretty good gear). Even to a level 75, his Dimensional Death hits pretty hard if you don't blink it.

That said, I've done this with basically a duo of RDM75/NIN37 and WHM75/BRD37 before and it was very easy.

As Icemage said, possible, but risky. I did it with a 75NIN/WAR and a 75RDM/NIN when I was a 59 WHM, and it went pretty well. You just have to really be on top of your game if you're going to try and solo him.

I'm 3/6 on this fight because it's so hard, and the times I've failed I've had fewer than 3 level 65+ members in the party (myself included).

Aldetour is an extremely hard mob to beat IMO, and that said I have to give some major props to Icemage on managing to duo this guy.

I've duoed this mob with my 75whm/nin and the whm needing the drop. He would haste and cure me, and I think I used 2 yag drinks but that was it. I used my normal gear, astrals, nobles tunic, blessed pants, feet and hands, penitents rope.

Dual darksteel mauls is what I used, just takes a really really long time to kill it. I got down to yellow/orange HP twice I think. Just make sure you got enough shihe, I think i burned through a stack and a half of them over the course of the fight.

SMN75 can solo it. Even better if you have a 40rdm there to refresh him.

You'd need a 41 RDM, actually. But yeah. :p
