Avatar Burn PTs

Where is a good spot to have a pt of 5 SMNs + refresher at level 75 exp at?

I've done it in the past at lvl 70 on RDM, but now that I'm SMN and I'm 75 I'd like to try it.

Lvl 70+ Astral Burns can be done in several places.

King Ranperre's Tomb, Skeletons.
Mountain buster these and most of the time they go down in less then 3 seconds after being pulled.
Hounds can be hit with Predator claws.
Ghosts are a bit more risky but still doable use leviathan on these if you have trouble landing Predator Claws.

the Shrine of Ruavitau, Aura pots.
Also mountain buster hurts these greatly.

Any avatar can be used on those, my avatar of choice would be Fenrir because he's cheap.

Why Fenrir on imps? Imps are dark-based and so is Fenrir. I can't get decent Drains or Aspirs on them ever.

I might imagine a BRD COR 4xSMN team might be a nightmare as an exp party. Ballads 1 & 2 with a strong Evoker's Roll could be bonkers.

Eclipse Bite is a physical attack, so element types play no part in the damage done to them.
I might imagine a BRD COR 4xSMN team might be a nightmare as an exp party. Ballads 1 & 2 with a strong Evoker's Roll could be bonkers.
Don't forget Puppet Roll, Drachen Roll or Beast Roll for added bonus to Acc(phys and magic) and/or damage(phys or magic).

Typical Avatar Burn PTs have 4-6 SMN and 0-2 Refreshers. 6 SMN set ups, usually have one SMN/BRD for Ballad and 1 SMN as the puller with Carby. 5 SMN set ups have 1 Refresher and still has a SMN as the puller (since being able to pull with Sneak on is a bit game breaking). I've never done 4 SMN and 2 refreshers, but I imagine there would be little down time, if any.

As Gobo sais, Eclipse bite is a physical attack (Slashing)
Still does a decent amount of damage and is the cheapest decent DD Blood pact.
Next to that Fenrir is the cheapest avatar next to Carbuncle conserving your MP a bit.

Another good choice would be leviathan as he has a big chance to resist Amnesia.

Well I went to go try it. Had a hard time finding the pots, someone told me where they were "at" but all we could find was dolls and weapons...someone aggrod weapon and we wiped.

The pots room is the room where people are there for popping Olla, to get "Water" for summoning genbu I believe. You can just circle around and kill all the pots there without casting any spells except for in the Monolith room.
