I haven't check on my chocobo since October, but I have been using the wistle to ride her. I am wondering if i will need to go through 70-90 cutscreens(I know with the update that if no change the days will merge--but knowing my luck I will have a change for every day) does that also include sickness and lonelyness(as far as the days merging) or is it that each day the bird gets sick we will have to suffer through it. Can I retire my chocobo without having to go through the days(if not there should be an option)? Since I have been not even checking on it, what are the odds that there will be any changes?--I'll temp it when I get out of work and post the results(or will be still trying to get through all the cut-screens.
I heard they fix it so that all the days with no change will be collapse into 1.

OK does anyone know a way to not view all the chocobo updates. I have not played for a few months and honestly do not want to waste my time going through 1000 updates on the chocobo. Please there must surely be a way to not view them! If there aint this is going to be a short re-subscription to the game. :worry:

As stated above, days with no changes are collapsed into one cutscene.
This is what happens to irresponsible parents, you will now be eternally chastised by the chocobo stable folk. You're a dirty chocobo-neglecter!
your choco auto retires after about 150 dyas anyway

You have to sit through the CSs. It's SEs way of saying, "You suck at life and should never have kids". You are lucky though I had to sit through three hours of CSs when I forgot about my choco. And I learned my lesson, I no longer suck at life. LOL. Just be happy the update grouped the days the way they did.

even with the grouping it still took about 1hr to get through all of them. I'm just greatful it retired when it did. I think the worst part of Chocobo growing is when you go to trade food to the NPC to feed the chocobo, and instead of trading you hit the action button that forces you to watch the status(espically if you do it about 5 times in a row)
