POL not running??? help!

Hey everyone i'm a returning veteran quit like...2.5 years ago? lol! long time! but haha. I just bought the vana'diel collection 2007 and installed POL but whenever i try to run the program. It looks as if its about to load but then just goes black and goes back to my window...and i've tried everything from rolling back direct x to 8.1, then back to 9.0, installing the latest drivers for my gfx card and stuff. It just doesn't seem to work and its frustrating haha! cause i really want to come back and i have a copy of my old POL cd and game cause i thought it might've been the install disk or something but that isn't the case. Anyone got any ideas? on how i can get POL to run on my pc? i got a

Processor AMD Athlon 2800+
1gig ram
ati radeon 9600 pro
160 seagate gig harddrive

all drivers are up to date and so fourth :(

What version of windows.? Did you run the installer as a user with administrator access? Are there any errors logged in the Event Viewer?

I"m running the game or POL under windows service packet 2 and last time i checked the error report nothing was there...and yup i have full administrative options here so i don't know whats going on :( and i can't call playonline cause there closed *sigh*

Nothing seems wrong with your system specs. I'm afraid you might have to wait until Monday and contact PlayOnline Support. If it's dropping immediately to desktop without an error in the system event log, then there's not much we can do to troubleshoot it here.

*sigh* dang it haha alright thank you for all your help guys really appreciate the try. Well guess monday i will just wait at least i don't have school so i'm good haha xD

So after about 3 days of waiting and torture LOL!. I finally got my playonline viewer to work after some help from playonline customer service...Guess all i had to do was uninstall any language packs since the game hated that for some reason well...i'm off to download my updates and everything hopefully get to play soon lets see what server i get sent too woot haha see everyone later :)
