This screen pops after I insert the disc, and it begind do install.

I had some errors during installation of the game it self, but I just had to turn JP language settings off, and if worked .. but not this time:

Edit: Oh yeah, my OS is XP if that could/should have anything to do with it

So you are trying to install it in English mode?

I tried in JP, EN and Danish ... still no luck TT

Do you have administrative privileges on the machine you are installing on? I think InstallShield assumes you have all administrative privileges when installing. You might also try configuring your DCOM settings. This website should help you in configuring those if changing to an administrative account does not work. http://consumer.installshield.com/kb.asp?id=Q108324

maybe try clearing out your temp folders it uses to install teh game.

If you tried to install in non JP mode it may have made some files that are messing you up..

i'm having a problem also... its weird the installation wizard starts up but then i get an error... and its like CD is never detected... i put in D1 > runs then error > stops.... i dunno if i am suppose to do it through POL but i doubt it... i tried everythign still no luck

I had this problem when installing the original FFXI PC.

I had to Uninstall the XP installshield manually and reinstall it (v2.0x)

this is the file I am able to get from the website, is it the correct one .. and btw DJ ^^, how do I uninstall it ?

Help o.O ... Anyone ? ... I need a new version of InstallShield, and/or a key code I can use to complete installation of it with ^^
