Lizard skin. Where do I go to yield the most?

Is it worth farming them or is better of buying from AH? In my server is about 15K a stack. I tried farming lizard for it but have yet to get one. I tried killing them Sout Gustaberg, Konschtat Highlands, Valkurm Dunes and Meriphataud Mountains. Killed over 100+ lizard or more and not a single lizard skin drop. Anyone have better recommendation for me if I want to farm my own lizard skin? I have TH 1 only. Thanks so much.

If you have the lvl to do it Crawlers Nest has high drop rates on skins, I used to farm those a really really long time ago. :thumbsup:

Eggs maybe is better than tail. I get mad tail from farming in the area I farm lizard but never a single skin. Thanks I'll try out my luck over there.

Crawlers' Nest's Maze Lizards don't really drop them all that much better than somewhat lower level enemies, but they're plentiful and concentrated in a single location, which makes them good farming candidates.

If you don't mind doing a bit of running around, Ivory Lizards in Yuhtunga are a pretty good bet, as there's a continuous path around most of the zone you can take, assuming you can kill them reasonably fast.

Icemage I did try killing those in lower lvl places. But for each place I've try killing the lizard they have yet to drop me a single skin. That's why I said it could be either my luck or there's something wrong. Lizard tail drop like 3/4 lizard I kill. And that's not what I want. The places I've killed lizard are South Gustaberg, Konschtat Highlands, Valkurm Dunes and Meriphataud Mountains. But I'll try Crawler's Nest as well as the Yuhtunga.

I've never farmed Maze Lizards (lvl 41-43) in Crawlers Nest. But I leveled BST when I was 50 against Labyrinth Lizards (lvl 49-51), and they drop stuff like crazy. It was not uncommon for one lizard to drop an egg, a tail, and a skin. From that one level of soloing (roughly 2 hours), I came away with about 4 stacks of lizard skins.

You should be 65+ to safely farm the lower floor in CN but that place is really good for drops. You will also get tons of tails and eggs for sell.

If you don't have your Teleport-Yhoat spell yet, farm the Yuhtunga/Yhoat White and Ivory Lizards. That scroll (if you don't plan to use it yourself) will buy quite a haul of Lizard skin.

If some places have high drop rate and if the % is not as low as less than 30% then I'll rather farm for it than buy it. 15k a stack is not low specially for someone like me since my highest is lvl 30. And I know I'll be burning through a good 10 stacks before I get out of that stage. Thanks all so much for all the advice. I'll try it out this weekend when I have more time to log into the game.

If you're highest is 30, you really can't farm them effectively. It's better to farm something else, sell it, and buy the skins. Unless Riding Lizards in Yughott drop anywhere decent.

If you do the Teleport-Yhoat quest, you'll need help as those lizards will eat a level 30 alive.
