My Husband's chocobo was just forced to retire.

Yeah, apparently people all over are noticing their chocobos they've had since they were added retire. Guess that answers that question >o<

Just confirming...

After I got my Day 129 Report (which happened to be Walk in Town),
the trainer insisted on retiring my chocobo. Unlike one poster on Alla who said that all his Care Plan options (except Basic Care) were removed a few days before forced retirement, I had all Care Plans available to the very last day.

Unfortunately, Zopago didn't give me a run-down on my chocobo's statistics so I have no idea whether her Receptivity was lowered due to the Care Plan. (She had just gotten an increase in Receptivity the day before.)

I recommend that, after you get your Day 127 Report, change Care Plan #1 to BASIC CARE to ensure that your chocobo's stats have no chance of decreasing that final day.
