I'm wanting to get xzomit organs for my gorget.... wondering what's a good way to efficiently kill them?

- Rdm/nin straight fight the smaller ones?
- Blm sleepga and nuke the big one then zone the small ones?

Is it worth killing the babies or should I only kill the mommy?

When we hunted organs we killed the whole "family" but organs only seemed to drop from the "mommy". I don't really have a good idea about how to solo them because we hunted with about 5 people. Also, we tried the upper level ones that are alone, and it seemed they would rarely drop an organ.

I think the squid are monk type mobs, so they hit pretty fast. (one thing to think about if considering rdm/nin. They might go through shadows fast)

I was able to solo the Ul'xzomits by picking off the "babies" that follow the one in the lead. If you kill those first, they will not link.

I did it duo with blm/rdm and rdm/blm the other day. Sleepga the trio, nuke high heaven out of the momma, run like a sissy to the palace. Rest up, come back out, and more often that not, the momma is back with them.
